Armed Vehicle Patrol Officer

ACS is a national Home Security organization that offers patrol and security services to many communities in Los Angeles. We are currently seeking Armed Patrol Officer to become an integral part of our team. In this role, an Armed Patrol Officer will patrol and secure an assigned premises in areas of West Los Angeles or San Fernando Valley. ACS Security patrols communities in Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Santa Monica Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Brentwood Park and many others.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent theft, violence, and maintain general security of assigned post

• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security


• Maintain Daily Activity Reports, incident reports and accident reports


• Maintain professional communication with clients and patrons


• Respond to emergency calls including alarm activations, medical, fire and property damage


• Respond to reasonable non-emergency requests and security related requests


• Remain alert and vigilant while on duty


• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Security Law Enforcement, or other related field a plus, but not required. On the job training is provided!


• Firearm permit – armed guards must have a permit and own a firearm


• CA driver’s license


• CA guard card


• Pepper spray permit preferred

• Strong attention to detail


• Proficient level of verbal and written communication


• Maintain a professional appearance including cleanliness of uniform
