Veterans make excellent employees across the entire civilian workforce, but not enough is being done to help them find meaningful work. It seems like win-win situation to hire vets, as they have impeccable training, discipline, and learn quickly. There are many factors that go into this, and this video by the Wall Street Journal takes a meaningful insight into how both sides of the equation can do more to improve the job prospects of veterans. Dan Goldenberg, Executive Director for the Call of Duty Endowment, explains that his organization is focused on creating "more market efficiency" by tackling the disconnect between the supply of veterans ready to take jobs, and demand for them.
